With my experience in helping physicians navigate the intricacies of insurance, I realized there was also a clear need to help seniors understand what options they had as well. I pride myself in being able to educate seniors on the wide variety of choices they have for care from providing a quality in-home caregiver to helping them find an assisted living community or board and care home. My goal is to truly be a resource for seniors, to help them make the best choice for their individual circumstances.
When younger, Dane was involved in a preceptorship with a local physician. With this physician, he was able to go to various skilled nursing facilities while the doctor visited with patients and checked in on their various conditions. Dane says "he was struck by how much the doctors patients appreciated his genuine care and concern as he went from room to room. Many of the patients did not receive visitors. I knew at some point that I wanted to be involved in a similar way" Dane said.
